Conceptualise – Fund – Develop – Operate

The Qantas Golf Club was the brainchild of Avid founder, James Cooper.  Driven by wanting more people to play more golf, James conceptualised a product that would connect the 12+ million Qantas Frequent Flyers to golf course all over Australia.  With the assist of some colleagues the concept was refined and pitched to Qantas.   The Qantas Golf Club officially launched the in 2014 and quickly became the largest golf club in Australia.

In 2019, NBC’s Golf Channel acquired the program and is today led by Avid Sports in Australia under the GolfNow and GolfPass brands.
